Flashpoint, formally called "Shadows and Light" formed in 1993. The duo's first gig was New Years Eve on the Empress Cruise line's "Majestic" out of John's Pass, St Petersburg, FL. Other ships they played were Mr Lucky out of Tarpon Springs, Fl. and a brief stint on The Tunica Queen on the mighty Mississippi out of Memphis TN. Now called FLASHPOINT They play most live music venues on the central, west coast of Florida, from Sarasota to Cedar Key. But will travel anywhere on the planet. Playing a wide range of music from Pink Floyd to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Fleetwood Mac to Etta James. With optional light show featuring moving head gobo lights, a killer P.A. system.
